- If you look at the advance program for HOPL-II, you will see that they
- didn't accept that many papers, and only one per programming language.
- There will be "The Evolution of Forth" by Rather, Colburn, and
- (surprise) Moore. The language papers will be about Algol68, Pascal
- (invited), Concurrent Pascal, Ada (invited), Lisp, Prolog (invited),
- discrete event simulation languages, FORMAC, CLU, Smalltalk (invited),
- Icon, Forth, C (invited) and C++.

- BTW, Charles Moore published "The Evolution of Forth, an Unusual
- Language" in the August 1980 Byte.
