- We are going to start with a large project in about two months time
- (a compiler for EIFFEL), and we are just collecting the development tools.
-
- Are there any FREE C++ development environments? We are using SUNs and
- HPs running SUN-OS and HP-UX. What are they like? Where to get them?
- What experiences have you made with them? Which tools are included
- (project management, code version management, class browser, etc)?
-
- We were using HP SoftBench, since this is the only one currently installed
- at our site, but it doesn't run on SUNs and gets quite slow when it's being
- used by three or more persons at the same time. But something similar
- (or better!) would be fine.
-
- Thanks,
- Lars Eggert (eggert@rbg.informatik.th-darmstadt.de)
