  13. We are going to start with a large project in about two months time
  14. (a compiler for EIFFEL), and we are just collecting the development tools.

  16. Are there any FREE C++ development environments? We are using SUNs and
  17. HPs running SUN-OS and HP-UX. What are they like? Where to get them?
  18. What experiences have you made with them? Which tools are included
  19. (project management, code version management, class browser, etc)?

  21. We were using HP SoftBench, since this is the only one currently installed
  22. at our site, but it doesn't run on SUNs and gets quite slow when it's being
  23. used by three or more persons at the same time. But something similar
  24. (or better!) would be fine.
