- great surprise, they managed to define a safe subset of C, so safe
- that it could even be garbage collected reliably. I believe they
- had a technical report on the sublanguage available by anonymous FTP.
- Unfortubately, I don't know where they are located; perhaps you
- can find the post in the archives, wherever they may be.

- I vagualy remember they might be in California. The name Berkeley comes
- to mind. Perhaps a phone call to computer science dept in Berkeley
- would yield some leads.
