  17.   I am new to this newsgroup, so please forgive me if I am asking 
  18. something that has already been posed.

  20. Pretend that you are a software manager (even if you are, pretend anyway)
  21. and that you have to prove to YOUR manager that software reuse increases
  22. reliability, decreases development time, etc.  What would be the most
  23. important things you would like to show him/her?  What concrete evidence
  24. would you like to have to show?  Not just, "look, it seems to work well"
  25. but, "look, we doubled our ??? "
