  12. In search of: a real-time shared drawing tool

  14. I am working on my PhD research on the design of learning environments for
  15. cooperative learning at a distance, which means that groups of three adult
  16. learners are collaboratively working on a problem solving task. I want to
  17. study the effects (on learning outcomes and processes) of supporting their
  18. work with a tool for collaborative creation of drawings and schemes, 
  19. additionally to communication through audio-conferencing.

  21. What I need for this, is software that enables this collaborative drawing,
  22. specifically:
  23. - real-time interaction,
  24. - a cursor on the screen for each participant (there are 3 of them),
  25. - if possible: input from more than one person at the same moment.
  26. I am searching for software that either does the whole thing, or that 
  27. enables real-time work on (drawing) applications that may not be specially
  28. designed for collaborative work.

  30. For the research purpose, it does not have to bridge long distances. 
  31. Implementations on a DOS/Windows or Macintosh environment are preferred 
  32. (since that's what we have available here).
