  14. I'm using a Sun interactive drawing/graphics program called Touchup,
  15. version 2.5, written in 1988 by Ray Kreisel, apparently formerly at 
  16. rayk@sbcs.sunysb.edu (SUNY at Stony Brook, NY).  I am 
  17. drawing lines to surround distinct regions on images, but 
  18. I am having trouble with the Filling routine for areas
  19. that have been created with the pencil tool.
  20. One of the bugs reported in the documentation to Touchup says
  21. that "If you try to Flood Fill an area that has a VERY complex
  22. pattern and covers a large area it is possible to overflow
  23. the stack and cause a core dump."  This is approximately what
  24. is happening to me.  My question is:  Has anyone fixed this 
  25. bug in Touchup since its most recent release in 1988?
  26.  
  27.     (I have tried Xpaint2 to perform similar tasks, but I need
  28. the ability to assign explicit DN values to the fill colors.)
