- I'm using a Sun interactive drawing/graphics program called Touchup,
- version 2.5, written in 1988 by Ray Kreisel, apparently formerly at
- rayk@sbcs.sunysb.edu (SUNY at Stony Brook, NY). I am
- drawing lines to surround distinct regions on images, but
- I am having trouble with the Filling routine for areas
- that have been created with the pencil tool.
- One of the bugs reported in the documentation to Touchup says
- that "If you try to Flood Fill an area that has a VERY complex
- pattern and covers a large area it is possible to overflow
- the stack and cause a core dump." This is approximately what
- is happening to me. My question is: Has anyone fixed this
- bug in Touchup since its most recent release in 1988?
-
- (I have tried Xpaint2 to perform similar tasks, but I need
- the ability to assign explicit DN values to the fill colors.)
-
- Thanks for any help,
