  11. SIGGRAPH 93 invites students to gain valuable experience 
  12. by being a part of the conference team.  Most duties are not 
  13. glamorous, but every position provides opportunities to 
  14. interact with committee members, contributors, and 
  15. attendees.  SIGGRAPH participants (including our student 
  16. volunteers) come from all over the world and represent the 
  17. many diverse fields in which computer graphics plays a part.  
  18. Student volunteers are invaluable to the success of 
  19. SIGGRAPH conferences.
  20.  
  21. Volunteers must be undergraduate or graduate students 
  22. during the 1992-1993 academic year.  Students in any 
  23. discipline are encouraged to apply.  No experience or 
  24. "connections" are necessary for acceptance.  Compensation
  25. varies depending on the hours worked, but always includes
  26. registration and admission to all parts of the conference,
  27. including courses.  Additional compensation may include 
  28. proceedings and housing.
