- Hi, am am wodering if anyone has references on mapping a raster
- picture on a 3d model (eg, a face from a photograph on a model of a head).
- This seems obvious enough that someone would have tried it, yet I find no
- references in my texts or 3d modeler manuals. The refernces I see on mapping
- raster are all directed at "texture" mapping, were a relative small piece of raster
- is used to tile a model to make give the model the appearance of being
- made of a given material.
-
- Please direct responses to me, and if I get fun references, I'll post a summary.
- Thanks very much, Andy (andy@autodesk.com)
