  17. The Computer Science Department of Stanford University is seeking
  18. candidates for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the areas of
  19. computer vision/computer graphics.  Specific areas of interest
  20. include, but are not restricted to, physically-based modeling and
  21. animation, model generation, active vision, sensor fusion, invariants
  22. for vision, illumination models, and geometric foundations for
  23. vision/graphics. The successful candidate will be a computer scientist
  24. who is proficient in developing the underlying algorithmic techniques,
  25. and in building prototype systems to demonstrate the algorithms in
  26. specific applications.  Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding
  27. research and teaching abilities.
