  12. Are there any good books or papers available on typeface design?  I've
  13. seen some pretty ugly fonts, some produced internally here, and have
  14. found it challenging to produce good looking fonts even when special
  15. attention is paid to aesthetics.  I'd like to find a good intro to this
  16. art.
