- Recently I tried downloading some Postscript fonts to a
- hard drive attached to a LaserWriter IINTX from my Macintosh IIfx
- running System 7.1. I tried using the latest utility from Apple
- for the task (7.2) and discovered to my surprise that it reported
- every postscript font I owned was defective and it could not do the
- job as a result. This was even the case after reformatting the
- drive on the printer and restarting it. Fortunately when I tried the
- older software from Apple for the task (7.0), the problem went away.
- Has anyone else experienced this problem and know its cause?
-
- Where does Apple or Adobe document the postscript stuff about downloading
- fonts to drives attached to PostScript printers?
