  20. Our commercial editor, ie, has column-oriented copy, cut, and, paste, as
  21. well as a search window toggle for column versus buffer-wide search and
  22. replace.  And, of course, you define a column dynamically, simply by
  23. marking the top-left and bottom-right corners.
