  15. Hi:
  16.     I have recently got emacs from Free Software Foundation and compiled it
  17.     for the Sun Sparc.  The problem is that based on what we got, we 
  18.     could not figure out how to make it work the way it's supposed 
  19.     to.  e.g. we could not get the keyboard keys mapped right to what 
  20.     they shoud be.  We could not even generate Meta characters that is 
  21.     usually ESC and then the character.  There is a simple initialization
  22.     problem that  an emacs expert should know.
