- :-) :-), for a moment I was surprised that the real author of Crisp
- Paul Fox (from U.K) posted something, as he never bothers answering
- any questions on anything related to Crisp prior to 3.0, but then
- that my surprise lasted only for a moment as I saw your EMAIL addr.
-
- Any way, I apologize if that is the impression I gave, however just to
- for a little more info on Crisp prior to 3.0. Crisp was a shareware
- version with a $60.00 value attached to it. People usually tend to
- ignore it.
-
- Shareware, as of yet is still available on the net, however if you know
- of someone doing any real development on it, I would really be interested
- in knowing it. As far as I know, I keep on getting calls from previous
- shareware users who are being referred to the commercial release by other
- 3.0 users as there is no support available for 2.2 anymore.
-
- As far as the price of the product is concerned, $149.99 for a starter
- version is by no means very expensive, but then maybe anything above
- and beyond a few dollars is expensive, and Paul Fox (U.K) committed a
- cardinal sin by trying to sell his software :-). Software developers
- are supposed to work for free anyway.
