  34. :-) :-), for a moment I was surprised that the real author of Crisp
  35. Paul Fox (from U.K) posted something, as he never bothers answering
  36. any questions on anything related to Crisp prior to 3.0, but then
  37. that my surprise lasted only for a moment as I saw your EMAIL addr.

  39. Any way, I apologize if that is the impression I gave, however just to
  40. for a little more info on Crisp prior to 3.0. Crisp was a shareware
  41. version with a $60.00 value attached to it. People usually tend to
  42. ignore it.

  44. Shareware, as of yet is still available on the net, however if you know
  45. of someone doing any real development on it, I would really be interested
  46. in knowing it. As far as I know, I keep on getting calls from previous 
  47. shareware users who are being referred to the commercial release by other
  48. 3.0 users as there is no support available for 2.2 anymore.

  50. As far as the price of the product is concerned, $149.99 for a starter
  51. version is by no means very expensive, but then maybe anything above
  52. and beyond a few dollars is expensive, and Paul Fox (U.K) committed a 
  53. cardinal sin by trying to sell his software :-). Software developers 
  54. are supposed to work for free anyway.
