- I have an idea on using sound signals for a multimedia application. I would
- like to test my idea using the equipment I have. I have a Creative Lab Sound Blaster
- board. I need to do some signal processing on the sound file. My question is that
- 1) whether anyone knows what kind of analog to digital, digital to analog chips
- does the sound blaster have?
- 2) what kind of software can manipulate the files, assuming I can unpack them.
- (I heard of PC DSP but never seen it in our bookstore.)
- 3) is it reasonable to do any signal processing using the Sound Blaster? Am I
- wasting my time and I should get another board? What kind of quality am I
- getting?
-
- Thanks a lot!
