  28.    not necessarily.  it's hardly any cheaper, but you can run x.25 over
  29.    the serial ports [sun has a driver] into a pad [packet
  30.    assembler/disassembler] with asynch. serial ports -- i've seen pads
  31.    with 8 and 16 lines...

  43. I don't know anything about the ELC, but if it has a scsi port you can
  44. buy a terminal server from Central Data (800 482-0315) that will give
  45. you two extra serial and one parallel port for about $600. I have one
  46. and I'm quite happy with it. I don't work for Central Data.
