- not necessarily. it's hardly any cheaper, but you can run x.25 over
- the serial ports [sun has a driver] into a pad [packet
- assembler/disassembler] with asynch. serial ports -- i've seen pads
- with 8 and 16 lines...

- I don't know anything about the ELC, but if it has a scsi port you can
- buy a terminal server from Central Data (800 482-0315) that will give
- you two extra serial and one parallel port for about $600. I have one
- and I'm quite happy with it. I don't work for Central Data.
