- So far as I know, this is an oversimplification. My Rockwell group
- builds a modem for use in our own product, and we have licensed the
- design from Modem Systems on terms similar to those enjoyed by Zoom,
- Supra, Gateway, and other OEM modem manufacturers.
-
- The programming specification for the C19xx controller is not in the
- freely available litterature; I believe this is for competitive reasons.
- I am very certain that the source code and developement tools for the
- modem microcode are available to OEM customers under some terms that
- require a non-disclosure agreement. As such, the people who have that
- information are not at liberty to release it to you.
-
- Will Bundespost let you have a programmer's reference manual for the
- Siemens telephone switch in your local central office ?
