- It is very probable that most BBS's use mnp5 as they usually have up
- to date modems. As far as 4800 baud goes, this only applies to data
- that has not been compressed, like text files. Files that are already
- compressed by prgms. like pkzip will not benefit from mnp5 compression.
- In fact it's likely to make things slower as compressing compressed
- files usually makes them larger then when you started.
