- Could someone please explain to me the reasons for putting MNP5 into
- hardware instead of software? Are there strong reasons to reject a
- 2400 bps modem if MNP5 is implemented only in the companion software
- that comes with the modem? The modem would be used on a poor-quality
- phone line.
