- It depends ... Most of the synchronous DTE's that I have worked with
- have been able to optionally present the transmit clock output on pin
- 24.

- In general, I would not encourage anyone to do anything at all
- non-standard with synchronous equipment without reading CCITT
- recommendation V.24, which defines what all those pins are for.
