- The following was posted to the ZyXEL programmers' mailing list two weeks
- ago. If you're working on some sort of programming project involving your
- ZyXEL (e.g. voice-mail apps, fax, etc.) please follow the directions
- below...and if you're not already a member of the mailing list, you
- should be! Send mail to mckeeveb@sfu.ca to join!
-
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- In the process of collecting the responses for the mailing list and the
- fax to ZyXEL, I got a lot of feedback from programmers about the kinds of
- applications being worked on. What we'd like to do now is compile a list
- of exactly what everyone's doing (and what they're planning to do), and
- how far along everyone is.
-
- A couple of reasons:
-
- + To avoid unncessary duplication of effort; and
- + To allow people with similar interests/projects to collaborate.
- If I'm working on a voice-mail app for Windows, and you're working on
- something similar, wouldn't it be great if we could share code and
- ideas, rather than both of us struggling through in the dark?
- + So the network is aware of the kinds of applications that are available,
- where to find them, and how to contact their authors.
-
- To that end, please cut off and fill out the following form, then mail it to
- me at radel@bach.udel.edu. Please put "ZyXEL Project Registry" in the subject
- line so I can separate it from normal mail, and please send me a separate
- letter for each project you're working on or plan to work on in the future.
- Once I get enough responses, I'll compile the list and post it ocassionaly.
- PLEASE DON'T SEND YOUR RESPONSES TO THE MAILING LIST!
-
- Thanks, and happy modeming!
