  24. Gack!  So when I posted this I thought to myself, maybe they have it
  25. in stock now.  I had written a letter to one place (name withheld to
  26. protect the guilty) asking that they receive my order and ship it as
  27. soon as it is in stock.  That was three weeks ago.  So I called today,
  28. and suddenly they have it in stock.  (I ordered it and it should 
  29. arrive tomorrow.)  But did anybody there dust off my letter and call
  30. me to see if I would still like the modem?  Nooooh.  A customer with 
  31. money in hand, asking to give the money to them, and they cannot
  32. manage to respond to my letter.

  34. But anyway, in about 1.5 weeks I will be able to post a report on the 
  35. functionality of the PM14400FX PKT modem.

  37. Cost?  $364 for overnight delivery, charged to my Visa.
