Last friday I installed a new 16550A as COM4, because I have no description
for my multi-IO card. :-(
I got the following problem. Everything works fine, but "ECHO ATH0 > COM4"
results in WRITE FAULT. So I can say, if you only use selfwritten or FOSSIL
based software, there would be no problem. BUT if you use any DOS function to
access the port, you will get garbage.
