  27. could be a number of things....  but usually it's a handshaking
  28. problem.  Instead of the usual streaming zmodem, try:

  30. sz -brl 1024 <file.to.be.sent>
  31.  
  32. the "b" tells the sz not to do any translating.
  33. the "r" tells the sz to resume transfer.
  34. the "l 1024" tells the sz to use 1024 bytes pockets.

  36. Your modem and computer must acknowledge every 1024 bytes pockets
  37. before the host modem and computer will send the next pocket.
