  11. I'm purchasing a large number of 2400 bps MNP5 modems, and I would
  12. like to know a good program or general procedure for testing them.  Of
  13. course one can always do a crude test just by installing the modem and
  14. connecting to one other 2400 bps MNP5 modem and doing a transfer.  I
  15. suppose as a worst case that does tell you a lot, but I would like
  16. some way of testing the modems' ability to converse with a broad
  17. spectrum of modems.  Is there an easy way of getting at this sort of
  18. information?  Maybe there is some software diagnostic in the public
  19. domain or commercial that would assist in this task?
