  20. The Digicom Scout+ supports V.29 at 9600 bps as the fastest
  21. fax speed. Although the code is available for faster speeds
  22. it was not implemented in the present version. The vast majority
  23. of fax machines today do not support faster speeds than 9600 bps,
  24. including such high end products as the HP-FAX 310. So it seems
  25. that this feature is really not useful yet. This may change in the
  26. future, but so may the ROMs.

  28. Try faxing with 200 times 200 resolution a couple times, and soon 
  29. you'll get calls which fax machine you are using. The output is really
  30. quite crisp and sometimes comparable to laser printer quality.

  32. One page together with coverpage takes about 60 seconds of telephone
  33. time to Europe. Thats $1.14 (first minutes are more expensive than
  34. additional minutes). Airmail is $0.50 and lasts a week..
