- the modem is the same except the internal has a 16550, which
- is about $35 or so to get for an external if your serial board
- doesn't have one. Other people like the 'lights' on the external
- and think it's worth the added dollars.

- I use mine under DOS with ProcommPlus and under 'Linux'
- with uucp and several communications packages and love it.

- Only problem I've had is that it doesn't like PEP as the
- first tone it sees and that it doesn't appear to connect to
- a Supra worth a damn.
