- Have you disabled error correction and compression while trying
- to get this to work? I've found that the additional negociations
- consistently confuse dumber v.22bis modems. You indicated above
- that you were initially unsuccessful even with MNP disabled,
- but it wasn't clear to me if your continuing woes were with
- correction and compression disabled.

- Also, be sure to lock the T3000 to V.22bis, rather than
- negociating its entire protocol suite.
