  14. I have a ZyXEL U-1496E with 5.05 ROMs linked to a Macintosh IIfx running
  15. FAXstf software.  I was able to send faxes with it ok, but  I have a problem
  16. when I receive faxes from other fax modems and fax machines.  The 
  17. modem picks up the call and the fax status screen appears for about half a
  18. minute and then the software stops the transmission and reports an
  19. unsuccessful fax transmission error.

  21. Has anyone had a similar problem?  I would appreciate any help.
