  16. A number of us here have discovered - after the switch from 4gl 4.0 to 4.1 -
  17. that every time our programs leave a function the screen clears.  Is this
  18. a 'feature'?  Is there a cure?  Are we doing something stupid? - I mean more
  19. stupid than usual.

  21. It's rather obnoxious when you have a function whose sole purpose is to 
  22. display data which is provided by other functions - because each time you
  23. leave the display-function you see a 'flash' of the data you were trying
  24. to display followed by a blank screen.
