- It is a custom program written by the folks in support to patch various
- things on disk within an OnLine system.

- Absolutely not. Without detailed knowledge of the many data structures
- existing in an OnLine system, you would not be able to do anything useful
- with it (and could well make things much worse). Only the advanced tech
- support people use these patch utilities, and even they do so with a great
- deal of caution.
