- I've decided that I'm using the wrong language (C++) for the application I need
- to write. I was just exposed to DBASE IV and was impressed with the ease of
- application generation possible (via the form designer and simple near-BASIC
- like language).
-
- I know there are several development packages out on the market for PC's. The
- question is, which one?
-
- I would like a package that has a form designer and report designer. I under-
- stand some packages allow you to link in C/C++ modules for extra processing
- power (WATCOM SQL?).
-
- Network capability is not necessary (though would be nice to be able to upgrade
- to that with minimum maintainence).
-
- Any suggestions from the people in the field?
-
- Anyone worked with WATCOM SQL or CA-CLIPPER? Opinions? References?
