I asked the same question, and was told that Borland did away with
Flimport for version 4.0. I don't know why.

The best way is a 3rd party program called Condiut from Kalista, INC.
This program handles this type of problem and many, many other types
of file conversions.
I have not bought it yet, but I will because I have the same type of
problem you do. At the present time, I'm still using Flimport. The problem
is that it creates 3.5 tables. This is fine if your creating a table with the import, but won't work with an existing 4.0 table. What I do is create the
file with flimport and then restructure it in 4.0 to convert it.
