- -> While using Microsoft Access 1.0, I am experiencing frequent "General
- -> Protection Faults" after completing many operations (e.g. importing,
- -> update queries, adding keys to a file, etc.).
-
- -> Environment: DTK 386/40 8MB RAM, DOS 5.0, Win 3.1, Access 1.0,
- -> Pathworks 4.1, QEMM 6.0.
-
- Joel,
-
- I too have a 386-40 with 8 megs ram and have yet to encounter any
- problem with MS Access. Perhaps the culprit is QEMM. Access uses a
- LOT of memory and there might be an upper memory conflict. I am not
- using any upper memory manager. Hope this helps.
