- Intel and Sun seem to be in the same camp. Sun claims their
- latest offering goes 59 MIPS. Intel talks about the Pentium
- being a 100 MIP chip. Meaningless. Fortunately, DEC doesn't
- go around bragging that the Alpha processor is a 400 MIP chip.
- HP doesn't glory in the fact their latest chip cranks 99 MHz.
- They realize MIPs are meaningless as another poster points out.
