  16. No, it is far from that simple.  Rather it goes like this.  SIMTEL20
  17. is a much more general repository than Garbo.  Garbo specializes in
  18. some areas while leaving some others out.  Among Garbo's
  19. specializations are
  20.   - Quality MsDos utilities
  21.   - Turbo Pascal programming
  22.   - Education (we are a university)
  23.   - Educational MsDos games
  24.   - Mathematics and statistics (again the university in the background)
  25.   - Astronomy related programs
  26.   - Some special information (like my FAQs, ftp site lists, etc)
  27. I think this gives you the drift of Garbo's direction.  It also is
  28. to indicate that while we carry material for some other OSes (with
  29. the exception of OS/2), our main lines are within the MsDos domain.

  31. Not carried at all or of lesser interest to us
  32.   - Recreational games (these are ulowell's specialization)
  33.   - Recreational gifs
  34.   - Non-English utilities
  35.   - BBS systems related material
  36.   - All religion related material (goes also for bible utilities)

  38. There also are a few utilities which Garbo can carry, but SIMTEL20
  39. can't because of management policies (please let's leave this at
  40. that).

  42. Please observe a wish of Keith's (and mine).  You are welcome to
  43. query about Garbo policies, because I have a definite say in them,
  44. even if in 99% of cases I have to discard the users' kind
  45. suggestions because they would involve excessive work for me. 
  46. SIMTEL20 general policies are decided by the SIMTEL20 management and
  47. should thus rather not be debated.
