- It does map it all right. You just have to 1) set your keyboard
- to "enhanced" in the Options/Mouse & keyboard menu
- 2)if yin majority cases you need non-destructive backspace rename
- vt102del.pad into vt102.pad
- For pad assignments see manual or *.pad files. The *.mac show you the
- function keys assignments -- also preset to emulate vt102 keyboard.

- Telemate allows you to do the same: in Dial menu, select Edit and
- the second page of configuration has section "Toggles", one of the
- selection toggles "destructiveness" of the backspace for the
- individual dialing entry.
- The setting in the Options/Terminal menu is in effect only when you
- start telemate and something is already on-line, or you switch
- terminal emulations during session, i.e. when the terminal is set not
- through the dialing.

- It has problems but they are generally not what people think. Most of the
- times it is their laziness which leads them to say "blah-blah is not
- implemented" In my experience, and I am using Telemate to connect to
- Unix, VMS and VM hosts, it has extremely flexible and dependable
- keyboard/terminal VT102 emulation. Of course having vt320 would not
- hurt either...
- RTFM!
