- In the first place, it doesn't map the keypad at all. For my part I use the
- keypad in mail and in EVE. You can modify the MAC and PAD definitions, but this
- is a pain. I had to look at my old comm programs which DID map it to see what
- the right codes should be.

- Second, many comm programs allow you to change the backspace key in a menu or
- for each individual directory entry. What if I want to use VT102 on different
- systems which want different backspace codes?

- Telemate is a great program, but its not just a configuration problem.
- VT102 is just not that well implemented in comparison with other programs.
