  63.    I should note that not everyone (though most everyone) on this list
  64. supports the formation of the newsgroup.   This is just a tally of those
  65. who have sent me mail.

  67.    In another day or so, I will post the charter as it stands to the
  68. newsgroup, news.announce.newgroups.   This will mean that there will
  69. be thirty days for discussion about the formation of this group.
  70. In this time, we can further debate the charter, or the need for
  71. this group.   Any postings that will go to more than one group should
  72. be crossposted (by adding the name in the Newsgroup header) not reposted
  73. several times (I assume this is for efficiency of space).   Discussion 
  74. should probably take place on news.groups.   About once a week, I will
  75. send a RFD (request for discussion) on relevant newsgroups.   At the
  76. end of one month, if the opposition does not appear great, then there
  77. will be a CFV (call for votes) which will last a period of thirty days
  78. (or so).   Further instructions will be given at a furthe point.

  81. I have set up an RFD, and there will be a neutrally worded post, plus
  82. a sample charter at that point.
