- Taking it from theory into the "real world," it IS possible for the
- investment rate (and I carefully do NOT say "interest rate", since
- loans are not the only possible form of investment) to exceed the
- discount rate.

- This does not result in investing "everything", because people can't
- actually afford to do THAT. If you try to invest your entire
- paycheck, I'm sure that some combination of landlord/grocer/car
- dealer/whatever would come knocking on your door :-). People cannot
- save 100% of their earnings, which puts a cap on investment.

- However, if you can get a "good rate of return," you'll try to save as
- much as you practically can. No big problem.
