  37. There we have nothing.  There is exactly one specific proposal here,
  38. the abolition of the GST.  The rest is smoke and mirrors.  Fairness,
  39. simplicity, equity.

  41. The Liberals have been in the opposition for years.  Surely there has
  42. been time to develop a fair, simple, and equitable tax system on which
  43. people can make a judgement.  Instead, it boils down to exactly what
  44. every other party says: "Elect us and we will find a way of screwing
  45. you that we think is fair, simple, and equitable."
