- Actually, you shouldn't be able to run Windows at all without the DR DOS
- 6.0 update disk from Novell. If your command.com is dated 4/07/92, then
- you don't have to worry. If it isn't, the patch is available by anonymous
- ftp from SIMTEL20. To check whether that A file is actually password
- protected, go into the subdirectory and type

- password <filename.ext>

- If it isn't protected, you'll see

- If it is protected, you'll see letters instead of dashes. See your manual
- (p. 285) for details. You may have to place a call to DR DOS if it is
- protected and you want to get rid of it, since the lowest form of protection,
