  14. I've had two and a half weeks of intensive Dutch lessons, and I think
  15. Mervyn's post has set me back to day one.  If 'ek' = 'ik' and 'dis' =
  16. 'het is', I think I've got most of it; but would he care to tell us
  17. all (and particulary Bob Strauss) what exactly an 'ou' is?  'tain't
  18. in my Nederlands-Engels woordenboek, and I have a feeling it might
  19. come in useful.
