  12. I owe the solution of my ibid problem to Mervyn, sort of... .  (I now have
  13. search across all fields, etc etc.)  I was checking the dates at his
  14. suggestion when I decided to reinstall one more time but from a never
  15. used master disk; then checked the first set of files: an exe file -
  16. sort, I think - corrupt.
  17. So anyone else with this problem should get Norton Utilities, PcTools,
  18. whatever

  24. less work, the better!  It is by the way revolting here now, v. cold,
