  13. I've broken something. Please fix it, mommy....

  15. I added a lot of material to Ibid last night at home, increasing the
  16. size of nbbib000.dat.  I then copied this file over the same file when
  17. I came in to work this morning (as material had been added); and now I
  18. can't find any of the material I added last night. Updating,
  19. re-indexing, etc. does not help. It won't find entries later than the
  20. ones on the original nbbib000.dat - that is, the one I took home to
  21. work on and to extend. It was in fact larger than the one on my home
  22. machine; so this morning I tried unsuccessfully to do at work what I
  23. did quite successfully at home and without thinking twice about
  24. it.......

  26. At the same time, how does one then sensibly use Ibid between two
  27. machines; and what files does one thus keep a backup of? And carry
  28. between the machines?
