- I'm in the process of converting from MVS/370 3.8 to ESA 4.2.
- I'd like to export a copy of the master catalog of my old system to ESA as a
- user catalog. I want to use this approach as the old master contains
- a large number of user VSAM datasets and the CBIPO supplied catalog
- merge program MCNVTCAT doesn't handle VSAM files.
-
- Although this approach seems perfectly logical to me, I don't see a
- documented procedure for it. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
