- It's more complex than that... after adding or removing memory (regular or
- ESTOR), one has to release and rebuild the processor configuration (which
- requires at least a Power-On Reset)... then, when MVS IPL's, RSM reads the
- new storage configuration and knows what new (or different-sized) storage
- tables to build (in the old days of MVS/XA(?), if the tables changed enough,
- which adding ESTOR for the first time would certainly do, an IPL without CLPA
- would fail... but with the RSM address space in MVS/ESA 3.1.3, a simple IPL
- _may_ be sufficient).

- doesn't matter much whether the memory is online or not at IPL...
- reconfigurable memory (including all ESTOR) can be either offline or
- online while the system is up.
