  11. We've had a 3090-400E for several years. Now we're finally getting ESTOR
  12. (128M, 64M each side). As the sysprog, I can't find anything I have to *do*
  13. to get MVS/ESA 3.1.3 to use it. I haven't found any documentation that
  14. addresses adding ESTOR. But the sysprog manuals lead me to believe the
  15. system *finds* the ESTOR and uses it. Can it be that simple?

  17. We also run CICS 2.1.2 and it looks like it also will use ESTOR once it
  18. finds it. IMS 3.1 will need some buffer tuning but should benefit from the
  19. added storage on install.

  21. I know there are tuning duties once we get things going. I don't want to
  22. address those until we're using ESTOR a few days. I would appreciate
  23. any comments and help. Thanks.
