  12. We presently run VM/SP release 5 on a 4361, and are looking to get a
  13. 4381-PO3 in here in a couple of months to replace the 4361.  Due to
  14. moving to a larger box, our outlay for VM/SP and VS Fortran were going
  15. to increase quite a bit, so it seemed to make sense for us to join the
  16. HESC.  I was looking forward to dropping 4 Waterloo compilers
  17. and picking up the VS versions of them to run with our MUSIC/SP system.
  18. (which supports the VS versions of the C, PASCAL, COBOL, etc. compilers)
  19. The information I had from IBM on the HESC turns out to be
  20. ancient, I discover while perusing the IBM-HESC list archives, and a
  21. call to my SE confirms this.

  23. Since VM/SP has been dropped from HESC, there are no longer any versions
  24. of VM in HESC group I-A, so I'm wondering what kind of options I have
  25. available to me now.
