- I'm experiencing dialup (switched) connection problems on our 7171.
-
- 7171 ports set to 1A00 - 7,E,1 autoconfigure, autobaud
- Modem's buffer and MNP off. Will accept 300 to 9600 baud.
-
- User's using higher than 2400 baud are reporting that after the
- 'connect' msg is received, the "TERMINAL TYPE:" prompt fails to appear
- 60-80% of the time after hitting <CR>. This also happens to a
- lesser degree at 2400 sometimes.
-
- Without getting into too many details at this point, has anyone else
- experienced a similar problem and maybe know why this is happening?
- I do have a datascope and test modems/ports setup, as I have been
- looking into this now for many weeks. I'm beginning to suspect that
- the 7171 ports are just too darn sensitive, and lock up on me.
